Chairman
Dr. Mohamed Amin
Dr. Amin is a founder and executive with 35+ years in Healthcare. He is currently Founder & CEO at Elaj Group, one of the largest healthcare providers in the MENA and Gulf. Since its foundation, Dr. Amin has established it as a network dedicated exclusively to an integrated healthcare delivery model in the region that is aimed at and centered on improving clinical outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience. Dr. Amin also founded Al-Borg laboratories in 2000, establishing the largest chain of labs in MENA. Dr. Amin graduated from the Cairo University with an M.B.B.CH in 1984. He went on to complete his Masters M.Sc. E.N.T. fro University in 1996, Dr. Amin has been granted the PhD (Hon) degree in Economics and Business Management from the Oxford University.
Vice Chairman
Aliaa Amin
Aliaa is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at Harvard University, as well as a Prajna Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Yale University with a concentration in Health Care Management. With extensive experience as a hospital CEO in the region, she has successfully transformed a large hospital group in Saudi Arabia into an integrated care operator, securing the first Healthcare Operator License in the Kingdom. During the pandemic, she led key Public Health initiatives in collaboration with the government, overseeing the largest number of critical care beds under the Kingdom’s PPP program.
Her expertise also extends to diagnostics, where she has played a pivotal role in integrating AlBorg Diagnostics, one of the largest private lab networks in the Middle East, into the hospital vertical. Previously, Aliaa was a Senior Healthcare Consultant at EY-Parthenon, working on healthcare transformation projects across the MENA region.
As a trained healthcare actuary, Aliaa has held various roles in different health insurance companies in the region and in the US and has extensive knowledge in health plans creation and insurance pricing models.
Aliaa was the recipient of the Okvuran International Scholarship at the Yale School of Public Health based on academic ability, personal accomplishment, and strong commitment for making long-term professional contribution.

Mr. Mohamed Abd-elmohsen
Mohamed is a seasoned managing director with nearly two decades of leadership in corporate finance and investment, offering extensive expertise in the banking industry. His track record includes strategic restructuring, credit risk management, and driving growth in complex financial environments. Mohamed holds a bachelor's in business administration from Cairo University and an Executive MBA from the American University in Cairo, equipping him with the vision and acumen to lead transformative investments and maximize shareholder value.
Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Moustafa Amin
Moustafa is an accomplished professional in the healthcare space having founded, led, and partnered with leading healthcare companies. He holds a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. During his studies, Moustafa led Business Development at Pison Technology, an MIT spinout building the worlds first AI-infused cognitive wearable. After that, Moustafa Co-Founded and was CEO at Visionairy Health, an AI Health-Tech startup backed by top institutions including Harvard, MIT, Yale, Stacked Capital, Plug and Play, and other top VCs. Moustafa successfully led Visionairy to obtain European Regulatory Clearance and commercialize one of the world’s first AI software medical devices. Moustafa also led commercialization at Boston Microfluidics, a Boston-based startup that has raised $30M+ from leading institutions including Labcorp. Moustafa is also a co-founder and general partner at Life Ventures Capital.
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Anas Amin
A dynamic professional whose healthcare investment domain reached new heights during his tenure as Chief Investment Officer at Elaj Medical Services Company in KSA, a Health Holding Company. Anas strategically directs the acquisition of the group's assets, including hospitals, diagnostic centers, and medical laboratories, in target markets. He excels in establishing investment strategies for the group's companies and actively engages in overseeing business units' performance, corporate restructuring, financial planning, reporting, and long-term investments. Anas is an experienced investment executive who has previously worked in healthcare M&A at EY and PWC, where he worked on the closures of multiple billion-dollar acquisitions regarded as some of the largest deals completed in MENA. Anas is pursuing an MBA from Yale School of Management and holds a Bachelor’s from John Molson School of Business.
Head of International Business Development
Mr. Amr Amin
Amr possesses a diverse background in healthcare having worked across diagnostics providers, and pharmaceuticals. He holds a Master of Health Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. Amr worked on M&A at Elaj Group, leading transactions across different healthcare assets in diagnostics and hospitals. He then held roles in Strategy and Operations at Pfizer and then transitioned to Mount Sinai Health System where he managed over 300 Ambulatory Centers across New York. In KSA, Amr led Strategy and Operations for Alborg Diagnostics, the leading diagnostics provider in the Middle East and North Africa. Amr's dedication to advancing healthcare, coupled with his blend of strategic thinking and operational expertise, continues to be a key asset in making a meaningful impact in the industry.

Chief Compliance Officer at Tawasol Holdings and POC for Higher Education ProjectsGeneral Hussein has a wealth in the private higher education sector of over 25 years. He is also an expert in governmental affairs relationship as he held multiple senior positions in the Egyptian Ministry of Interior for over 30 years.

Hana Amr
Hana boasts a unique blend of medicine and finance, having graduated from the American University in Cairo with a degree in Finance, coupled with a degree in medicine from Ain Shams University. She has played a pivotal role as a healthcare expert in the Company’s growth story, founding its data-driven business development and spearheading the venture capital arm. Currently serving as Investment Director for Tawasol, Hana leverages her diverse skill set to drive strategic investments and innovation in the healthcare sector.

Mr. Yasser Sholkamy
An experienced finance professional with experience in several key areas of finance and accounting. Yasser’s career has included extensive work in banking and corporate accounting, financial planning, and more. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Cairo University.

Mohammed Abdullah
Mohamed has over 15 years of experience in HR across manufacturing and healthcare industries. He began his career at Al Boom Marine in the UAE, rising quickly due to his innovative approach. He holds an MBA from AAST. Currently, he is working on integrating AI with everyday applications to enhance organizational value.
